IMOGENE A. KING
A native of Greeneville, Tennessee, concentrates her practice in the areas of general civil litigation, workers' compensation, insurance, and zoning law. Ms. King graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1981 and joined the law firm of Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP in 1990. She has appeared before state and federal courts throughout East Tennessee, the Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals on various civil matters.
Ms. King is active in the legal community, being a member of the Knoxville and
Tennessee Bar Associations. Likewise, Ms. King is active in the community, currently
serving on the board of the Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council, Inc. Her past civic
activity includes nine years on the Knoxville-Knox County Metropolitan Planning
Commission, serving as Chairman in 1996, the Knoxville-Knox County Charter Commission
from 1995 through 1996, and the Urban Growth Policy Commission in 1999 and 2000, and
the Knoxville Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad.
