BEVERLY D. NELMS -
concentrates her practice in the areas of general civil litigation, workers' compensation, insurance, personal injury and construction law. Ms. Nelms graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1993 and joined the law firm of Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP in 1997. She has appeared before state and federal courts throughout East Tennessee, the Tennessee Court of Appeals, and the Tennessee Supreme Court on various civil matters. She is a hearing officer for the City of Knoxville Civil Service Merit Board and Ombudsman for the ESGR.
Ms. Nelms is active in the legal community, being a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel. Likewise, Ms. Nelms is active in the local community, serving on the Board for Big Brothers-Big Sisters of East Tennessee.
