REGGIE E. KEATON -
has over twenty years of experience in civil litigation. He has represented clients in courts across the State of Tennessee, including Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville and the Tri-Cities. He has extensive experience in representing clients involved in complex litigation. The areas of litigation in which he has practiced include, but are not limited to, government contracts, construction law, business, commercial and corporate, insurance, products liability, and ERISA.
Mr. Keaton has taken an active role of service to the legal profession. He has served as the President of the Knoxville Bar Association, and, also, served on its Board of Governors for twelve years, as either an officer or board member. Earlier in his career he served as President of the Knoxville Barristers, which is the young lawyers division of the Knoxville Bar Association. He is a fellow of the Knoxville Bar Foundation and serves on its Board of Directors. He is an Emeritus member to the Hamilton Burnett American Inn of Court and serves as an officer. He has served as a member of the Special Committee on Lien Law of the Tennessee Bar Association. This committee drafted proposed legislation to improve Tennessee's Mechanics and Materialmans' lien law. He is also a member of the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Mr. Keaton has taken an active role of service to the local community including coaching youth sports and previously serving as a member and as an officer on the Board of Directors of the Health Ventures of the Baptist Health System.
